Pretty important when you’re attending a speed dating or singles event, wouldn’t you say? Now I know there are some people who are adamant it’s what’s inside that’s important, and of course, ultimately it is. Nevertheless, statistics prove that no matter how lovely you are inside, or how much you resist being judged on your appearance, people will form opinions within the first 5 minutes of meeting you. Now, surely you wouldn’t want Mr or Mrs Potentially Right not to get to know your shining inner self because they were put off by your how you looked, would you?

As a trained style and colour consultant, I can show you the way to be delectably dateable! I can tactfully point out where you’re going wrong and guide you to a brand new you that people will be mesmerised to meet! To help you look your personal best, you can choose from a wardrobe edit, shopping trip or colour consultation, or for maximum results, all three! Together we can find a stylish and up to date image that fits your budget and lifestyle, no matter what your age or shape.

Shop till you’re drop dead dateable! - Shopping trip

Before shopping I will send you a questionnaire, so I can get to know you, your likes and dislikes, lifestyle and personality. Once you have advised me of your budget, I will then do a pre-shop for you. Having sourced the most suitable items to fit your criteria, I will guide you gently around the shops, with a fresh pair of eyes to find the perfect dating wardrobe. I will give an honest opinion, without being rude, and I’ll show you how to wear your items together and how to accessorise. You will learn how to cover the bits you don’t like, and accentuate the bits you do. And especially for the guys, I can teach you how to do “smart casual” – the trick to looking smart without looking like you’re going to work.
I will be there to make the whole process much quicker, easier and less painful, saving you time and money, on unsuitable purchases that you never wear.

Wicked ways with wardrobes - Wardrobe edit

If you’d prefer to make some space before shopping, I also offer a wardrobe editing service. I will come to your house and go through your wardrobe. Together we will discover why you don’t wear 80% of your clothing, and how to make the most of the other 20%. I will show you how to put your things together, and suggest new ways of wearing them. I will give you permission to get rid of all those items that give you a guilt trip every time you catch site of them, free up some space, and create a shopping list for the brand new you!

Caressed by colour - Colour analysis

By wearing the right colours your skin will look clearer, your eyes brighter and your dark shadows fade into the distance. An instant makeover! By wearing colours that echo your own colouring you will look harmonious in what you wear. I can show you what to look for in colours to ensure they complement you, (and others compliment you!) and how to combine them. For the ladies I can advise on make-up colours, and for the guys, I can suggest new combinations for mixing and layering your casual wear. Finally, ladies and gents, you can stop hiding behind an eternal sea of black, because you don’t know what else suits you!
