Calling all Inspirational Women!
Make Your Mark is a campaign to encourage more young women to have ideas and make them happen, either through running their own business or social enterprise or by making an idea happen at work.
The campaign is brought to life through the inspirational stories of young people.
The campaign aims to recruit 100 ambassadors across the UK, who together will use their stories to inspire others, through speaking engagements, networking, being profiled in media and getting involved in campaign initiatives. For other case studies and further information please visit: girlsmakeyourmark.org
These 100 recruits will also become part of a wider network of 1000 ambassadors which Margaret Hodge MP is championing, and who are being recruited via the Regional Development Agencies (RDAs).
Alex Ritchie, Girls! Make Your Mark campaign manager said:
"It is important that young women have realistic role models to whom they can look to for inspiration. Louise will join a network of ambassadors who together will inspire more women in their teens and twenties to take the plunge and make their ideas happen."
The Girls! Make Your Mark campaign is part of the wider Make Your Mark campaign that aims to create a culture of enterprise for young people.
Louise from Create Yourself is looking for women who have set up their own businesses to tell their stories with her at small events she will be organising through out the year. If you are interested in helping Louise inspire young women to make their ideas happen or have contacts in Education that could help please contact louise@createyourself.co.uk
