Picnic, Salsa Party Night, BBQs and more... 03 07 2008

Hi

Our Party Night at The Last on Saturday was a huge success with over 150 guests mingling and dancing the night away, thanks to everyone who sent their great feedback and comments - good luck on your follow up dates!

If you missed that night we are having another party on Saturday 19th July with a Salsa theme - all levels welcome at Core in Paddington and your £20 ticket includes supper and your salsa class.
Online booking required so we can arrange the numbers and taxi dancers for the night.  More info and to book here .

Before that we have our fabulous Champagne Picnic in the park next weekend - it was a brilliant day out last year and we have another one planned for Sunday 13th July next weekend.  We'll supply the bubbly, soft drinks and nibbles and all the games from 1pm onwards and you are welcome to bring extra rugs and food if you wish.  The more the merrier if you want to invite friends and family we will make it a day to remember.  Tickets are £25 online here and we'll let you know by email where we'll be.  If you have seen the photos from last year on Facebook you know this is a great one to join in with.

Then another new event on Saturday 26th July with a fun Wardrobe Workshop - take a look at your Personal Branding with the expert guidance and advice from Angela Marshall.  I can personally recommend Angela's practical help for real people who want to make the best first impression with what they wear every day.  Work out your own wardrobe personality with Angela's questionnaire and we can even use that to match you at future events - what  fun!  Places limited to 20 and costs £55 inc light refreshments and a copy of Angela's book.  More info and to book online here .

The BBQs are back and we have 2 in the calendar already - Sunday 27th July with the Telegraph's Kindred Spirits and Sunday 31st August for Meet at Last Sunday fun.  Both at The Montague - a real favourite last year with plenty of fresh food and a great atmosphere on the Terrace.

All our venues provide shelter if the weather can't be relied on and we promise great days out this Summer....

Finally, Meet at Last is proud to support a new charity called Rent a Date for Charity founded by Lisa Connell.  Lisa is living with an inoperable tumour and came up with a brain wave idea to generate cash for critical research and find a man in the process!  Meet at Last guests are all invited to check out the Celebrity dates on auction, place a bid and to put themselves up for a date too - I am!  As an extra bonus I am working with all the Meet at Last venues to sponsor the date - from coffee and cake to a 3 course dinner in style.  Go on get involved and have some fun - that's Lisa's plan.  Register here .

As always drop me a line if you have any questions or comments.
Looking forward to a great summer of dating!

Cheers
Clare
